The Giuggianello area is included in the cycling route of the Union of Municipalities of the Terre di Mezzo.

A cycle path with a total length of over 20 km that passes through all the towns and villages throughout the Union, forming a sort of Bicipolitana . Integrated with the existing infrastructure network, it aims to connect all the recently restored and redeveloped historic centers that characterize the entire Salento area.

In this way, we seek to establish a new culture of sustainable mobility among both tourists and, above all, the resident population.

The fifth and final section of the Unione delle Terre di Mezzo Cycle Path starts in the municipality of Sanarica and reaches the municipality of Giuggianello . Entering Sanarica from the municipal road to San Cassiano, just past the level crossing, you enter the town center along Via Malta. After turning (for a short stretch) onto Via Roma, you take Via Garibaldi and from there, turn left onto Via Pio XII.
